In a prayer meeting one staff member shared about a lady having cancer. You could feel the atmosphere of concern in the room, confirmed later by the prayers done for her.
Later I was thinking: why we are so sensitive when we hear someone is dying? I’m not saying that we shouldn;t. I was thinking: what if we had the same sensitivity for people who are refusing the message of the Gospel. They have a spiritual cancer, and I usually don;t cry for them. Do you?
Today while praying with my wife walking in the neighborhood – I felt that I needed God’s compassion for the people. I confessed that I can;t produce compassion for the lost, but I asked Him to give enough from His burden to share.
Can you be bold and do this prayer with me?
God give us compassion for the lost.
